RRL hose pipe coupling is connectors for RRL hose pipes which is used to connect either two hose pipes or to connect different types of equipment at the end of hose pipes. Hosepipe coupling is made up of either of three metals like stainless steel, gunmetal, and aluminum. These couplings are helpful in connecting two hose pipes with each other so as to meet the requirement when a single hose pipe is not able to do the job. It also helps in connecting different equipment with hosepipe like nozzles, etc. Hosepipe coupling is of two types based on the location of threads i.e. Male or Female. A male coupling has threads on the outer surface of the coupling while a female type coupling has threads on the inner surface of the coupling. A connection is made when a male type thread is connected with a female type thread. This coupling is made out of aluminium (IS: 344). This coupling uses spring made of stainless steel wire (IS: 6528).
